Get Ready to Get Woolly – It’s Woolly Weekend!
Mark your calendars, folks! We’re pulling out the yarn and getting seriously stitchy for four fabulous days of Woolly Weekend. Whether you’re a yarn newbie or a seasoned stitcher, we’ve got something for everyone – from crafty kiddos to lightning-fast knitters. Here’s what’s happening:
🧶 Thursday 15th: Kid’s Yarny Makes (3-5pm)
Bring the little ones and get ready to create some yarn-tastic creatures! We’re whipping up yarn monsters, woolly sheep, and pom-pom bookmarks. No experience needed – just lots of creative energy and a love of all things fuzzy!
📱 Friday 16th: Facebook Live @ 8pm – Ten Top Yarny Tips
Can’t make it to the shop? No worries! Join us live on Facebook for ten top yarny tips. We’re talking pro hacks, secret techniques, and maybe even a cheeky giveaway or two. Plus, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes peek at what we’ve got in store.
🏆 Saturday 17th: Fastest Stitcher in Town – All Day Competition
Think you can out-stitch the rest? Prove it! We’re hosting a competition to find the fastest knitter or crocheter in town. Show us how many stitches you can whip up in a minute and snag a goodie bag just for participating. The fastest fingers win a special hamper!
🛋️ Sunday 18th: Sit & Stitch – 2.30pm-5pm
Sunday is all about slowing down, cosying up, and stitching away. Bring your current yarn project or start something new while hanging out with fellow crafters. We’ll have refreshments, nibbles, and plenty of inspiration to go around.
