We can create a customised sewing kit for your students within your budget. Packed in a sturdy ziplock wallet, all the items are securely stored and ready for use.
Our standard sewing kit contains: plastic head pins, sewing needles, a seam ripper, a measuring tape, a plastic bobbin, sew all thread and an embroidery shank. Alternatively, we can custom make a kit to your own requirements. Just let us know what you want and we can put them together for your students. All kits come in a zipped/ziplock wallet and a sewing guide. Sewing kits and project kits can be combined.
We create individual project kits for students, containing all the fabric, embellishments and instructions they need to complete a project. 12 projects to choose from, including tablet cover, doorstops, aprons, bags and bunting.
Our secondary school sewing project kits range in complexity so whether you have a novice first year or a very creative 3rd year, we have something to suit everyone.
Every pack is inserted into a sturdy zip-lock wallet. A good quality polycotton is predominately used in the projects with a mix of 100% cotton on some projects, though you can swap fabrics if needed. A selection of colours are available, which can be chosen when ordering.
We are also happy to adapt any kit or create a new project based on a schools needs or budget. Sewing kits and project kits can be combined into one pack that contains all the tools and materials needed for the project.
This year we have introduced the facility for students/ their parents to buy the kit through our website. Once you decide on the project/ kit we create a bespoke web-page for your school where it can be purchased. We deliver all the bought packs to school by the agreed date.
