If it’s been a while since you crocheted or if you need a little confidence to get you back on track, our half-day class will get you up and running in no time! We’ll go over all the basics again and show you how to read a pattern.
This class is for people who can crochet and complete a slip, foundation, double, and treble stitch. We will start with a quick run through all the basic stitches and trouble-shooting issues people have. We will then demo a joining and edging stitch/technique which you can try. The first part of the class will end with a demo on blocking and how it can finish and improve your work.
The second part of the class will focus on pattern reading. We will go through the symbols and how they should be made. We will all work on a crocheted flower together to put theory into practice. There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and pick up tips and hints.
This class will cover:
- A refresher on all the basic stitches
- How to join pieces together
- How to edge
- How to block
- How to read a pattern
